Dead set stinging for tonights' games. Will be TV on cricket, radio on the league, and a quick switch if anything much happens.

Do have a feeling the Parra-Tigers game won't live up to the hype (then again games like that rarely do). Can see one or t'other running away with it.

Not that happy to see Mateo back for this game tbh. Much as he's a real talent, he's got a lot of errors in him, and to drop Wright (who is solid but goes forward) for Mateo is a bit of a risk imo. That said, he could set up a couple, but I dunno how he'll go playing third fiddle behind Hayne and Mortimer. Hope for our sake he just puts his head down, runs hard and tackles hard.

In the other game, really hoping Saints can beat the Broncos (sorry to our Qld lower primate brethren), not because I hate them or anything, simply because it's better for us if they do. It's that time of year.

Warriors/Raiders a crap shoot, IMHO. Form says Raiders, but away from the capital...?
Yeah, and some "experts" reckon you should always be wary of a well-beaten team which is returning to play at home. Still couldn't bring myself to go Warriors, but it was the home ground thing that pushed me towards Melbourne this week, and the Panthers for that matter.

I'm a rugby league fan, when I came to Australia last year I started watching a few of the matches on T.V and I fell in love with the sport. I still try and follow it here in Zimbabwe, I try and watch some of the matches by live stream.

Anyway I am a Panthers supporter and my favourite players are Michael Jennings, Luke Lewis and Frank Pritchard.

What a game at the SFS. One of the best of the year.

As for Hayne, well I'm no professional commentator, but I'm out of superlatives. 34000 there as well.

Jarryd Hayne, Dally M winner?

Absolute epic defence from the Broncos tonight, honestly where has this come from?
I hope the Dragons haven't peaked too early, for their sake. FTR outside of Melbourne winning winning the comp (which I highly doubt will happen), I want the Bulldogs to win. They have done well to turn the club from a farce last year to Premiership contenders and I want to see Hazem El Masri go out a winner.

Legend :)

Don't mind my ugly avatar I'm a Panther. The avatar is an ugly by-product of a horrible 2nd half performance :(

Good on you mate. Welcome to the boards BTW.

Sorry to hear about your Panthers support. Should go for their next door neighbour Parra IMO.

Tried logging in earlier this morning (this afternoon Sydney time) but netting with a Blackberry is way too hard.

Im SO proud of the Tigers... Yeah we lost and well done to Parra, but the performance we put in after playing with 0 wingers for a fair whack of the game was a great effort...

Losing Tui early hurt us heaps.. But the thought of having John Morris and Blake Ayshford or Danny Galea defending on the wings wouldnt fill many with much confidence..
