I thought you said Martin Crowe for a moment, hence my reaction - Richardson?. They are comparable IMO as both are stone wallers which NZ desperately need. I was thinking about comparing him to Richardson myself. He was a late bloomer so I didn't really feel that he should be compared.
Can't remember him getting out to it, but there was that one against the Windies where he top edged it straight up the the bowler and keeper left it for each other.Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I can't recall McIntosh getting out to the short ball. I think he may have once in the W.I series, but domestically I can't recall any instances really.
He might not have got out to it yet, but you'd have to think it's just a matter of time before he does. Can imagine teams targetting him there constantly if he gets an extended run in the team.Looking like you're getting hit (and getting hit occasionally) is only really a technical weakness if it leads to losing your wicket. All of you guys go on about how he needs to sort out this technical flaw and how he needs to learn to pull etc. I'm fine with it, as long as after he gets pinged, he's still at the crease.
Na.Anyone for a collapse?
noWhen Murali appeals do you think the Umpire is thinking "dude, get the **** out of my personal space, seriously man, back the **** up or I will stab you with the off stump."
Probably not those words exactly. When Murali appeals do you think the Umpire is thinking "dude, get the **** out of my personal space, seriously man, back the **** up or I will stab you with the off stump."
