McIntosh does score more sixes then you'd think in FC cricket. Mostly when hes setting his big tons.

Edit: Ha, not directed at you Athlai

If Taylor gets out to the slog sweep I'm swimming to Sri Lanka with a baseball bat.
I'm following in a boat and laughing at you swimming.

McIntosh is batting well here, don't wanna jinx him though.

Adding to Pratters vs everyone argument, McIntosh's home ground has ridiculously small boundaries and the flattest domestic cricket pitch.

Taylor needs to reach 1240 to average above 40 (if he gets out this innings, if he is NO he already does)

Or 56 runs if you prefer

Simon: "NZ haven't had a truly obdurate, durable opener since Mark Richardson, perhaps in McIntosh we're finally on the way there. Guptill isn't the answer as the other opener, but perhaps Aaron Redmond or Jamie How can fill the other slot. Well done so far lads!"

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I can't recall McIntosh getting out to the short ball. I think he may have once in the W.I series, but domestically I can't recall any instances really.

Looking like you're getting hit (and getting hit occasionally) is only really a technical weakness if it leads to losing your wicket. All of you guys go on about how he needs to sort out this technical flaw and how he needs to learn to pull etc. I'm fine with it, as long as after he gets pinged, he's still at the crease.
