If there is a world record for number of injured bowler at any instance, this got to be it. The following are the list of bowlers for BD who became injured one by one in one month:

Mortaza
Razzak
Rubel
Nazmul
Mahbubul
Enamul

Apart from Shakib, the current bowling line up is 3rd string.

more injuries for the BD bowling line-up. alam and enamul are apparently injured so we'll probably see dollar and mehrab in the XI.

Are there any more reactionary selectors than Zimbabwe's? Vermeulen comes into the team, scores 93 on his return and finds himself out of the team a week later. Taylor scores 90 odd and finds himself demoted down to 7 after one embarrassing dismissal. Mupariwa averages 26 with the ball after about 50 games and gets the arse so they can play three specialist spinners, one of which being incredibly unsuited to the format.

It's not like Zimbabwe can profess to having the immense depth for such intolerance either.Incredible.

Ray Price is so good. Wicket offering the seamers assistance and he still is the Zimbabwe's only hope.

Not great stuff from Zimbo.

Very strange selections going on this series.. Sibanda should never play limited overs cricket, ever.

Need to eat some humble pie and get Taibu back ASAP. Gives them a batsman/keeper/part-time bowler and frees up space for a real bowler capable of bowling ten overs in any conditions.

Typical series for Ash, one score, four failures. No longer has youth or inexperience as an excuse as well.

Just read on Cricinfo that Taylor is suffering from an ear infection. Coventry is behind the stumps.

New HS for Rahim, had a feeling he'd have a good day today.

Hope he tons up, love that little guy.

Why are they not using Harare's ground this series? AFAIK every game has been from Bulawayo
Very strange that. Their A team is playing in Mutare as well.

Unlucky for little Rahim, dismissed for 98 but a resounding series win for Bangladesh.

Not many positives for Zimbabwe, practically all of their top six contributed but not consistently or as a collective and the bowling was carried by one man, Ray Price.

International Regular
We were so mature with the bat during this series that I'm starting to have faith again. It's wins like this that leave me chomping at the bit to see how we fare against quality opposition, although I fear that the obvious good work that Siddons is doing in the nets with the batsmen still won't bring results against decent pace and seam bowling for a little while yet.

Nevertheless, I'll be watching this Zimbabwe team with a lot more interest than I had previously. There's players in this team who've barely seen any international cricket for years and it's hard to gauge what their actual potential is until we see a bit more of them. Once their previously absent white players get back into the swing of international cricket, and the complete revamp they've begun in their first class game starts bringing results, we might be looking back on this series as a bit of an aberration.

They'll continue to have a pop-gun bowling attack but there's match-winning potential in the batting.

Yeah, Campbell said the move to have Taylor down at 7 was tactical though - they felt his technique was lacking but still believed he could be useful at the end of the innings to form a partnership with Chigumbura. Which is stupid, because his technique has only been lacking against the spinners.

Pretty comfortable win for Bangladesh in the end, though Ray Price and Brendan Taylor made a respectable score for Zimbabwe after being 7-123.

Add Taibu to ZIM lineup and Kapali to that of BAN and suddenly there is substance in the line up.

Dodgy lack of footwork against the seamers but on these wickets, batsman were smoking it through the line regardless. I can understand the thinking, as Taylor is a good slogger (great cow corner hitter) but coming in after Elton is just bizarre.

Yeah I agree, his footwork is terrible early in his innings. It's not bad when he gets set but early on he just plants the front foot just outside off every ball.

However, Campbell based the decision on this series - and as you said, technical problems were always going to be much more likely to cause issues against the spinners than the seamers on those tracks against that attack, and had in fact already done to with Taylor several times.
