Norwood's on Fire
The five wickets that make up for the fifer a decent contribution, tbfBroad gets a fifer without contributing anything of significance again. Sure for the English selectors to persist with him till the next Ashes.

Lol must have missed that.Would have thought weight training would be advised, as it will increase the muscular stability of his back. That and say swimming. Think I read he ditched the weights and started doing pilates.
Nice to see Broad not celebrate. Worried he might do a Brett Lee India 600 odd for 5 chainsaw celebration.

Also, for the Englishmen (commentators included), who apparently are unaware of the 2006/07 series, Clark hit two 30ish scores iirc, in quick time.
He's not been worse than any other bowler, but these are meaningless wickets. Where was this when he was bowling absolute trash two feet outside off all morning when wickets were needed? The five wickets that make up for the fifer a decent contribution, tbf
A contribution that will have 0 effect on the game, and tbf he's bowled some real dross in this match. Time for the selectors to make a tough decision and drop him, in fact they should have done this months ago.The five wickets that make up for the fifer a decent contribution, tbf
AWTA. This like hitting a hundred in a game where 700 plays 600, it's fairly insignificant. He's not been worse than any other bowler, but these are meaningless wickets. Where was this when he was bowling absolute trash two feet outside off all morning when wickets were needed?
Had money on that before the seriesBroad somehow near top wicket taker for England.
Given Watson has been built for some years, he should have muscle memory, six months worth and any muscle lost will just be put back on once he gets back into the groove. But diet is everything in regard to muscle development, so he may have just given up on the whey. Looks fit but he use to be an absolute brick**** house, comparable to a rugby union back.Don't profess to know much about weight training, but his weight would be light and progressively get bigger over time, right? Hence he'd lose muscle mass?
Fair enough, thanks.Given Watson has been built for some years, he should have muscle memory, six months worth and any muscle lost will just be put back on once he gets back into the groove. He was obviously asked to bowl there by Strauss, I'm not going to hold that against him. I disagree with the notion of any wickets being meaningless anyway. Sure enough the game looks beyond lost but the players shouldn't be thinking that and therefore they were still wickets which needed taking. He's not been worse than any other bowler, but these are meaningless wickets. Haha, indeed. When Warney said Clark isn't so good against spin, I thought of Stuey's shots off Bailey in that match. So good.Yep, let's not forget this classic knock - South Australia v New South Wales, Pura Cup, Adelaide, 3rd day Report | Cricket News | Australia | Cricinfo.com
