Was absolutely plumb to a seamer - forget whether it was Anderson or Onions - early on. Could understand why it wasn't given, but was dead as dead comes.

He's generally alright against it when set though. It's when he has to start his innings against spin that he really struggles.

Nah, Watto is pretty poor against spin (like most batsman from Queensland), tends to depend way too much on the sweep shot to bail himself out of trouble against spin bowling, and that has proved to be his undoing a lot of times.
