*Official* Pakistan in Sri Lanka

Thanks to playing two games (out the five day one day series) and having a N/O. He averaged less than 35 in the three match 'test' series.

Yes, I've just considered all the runs made by him. But nevertheless very good against pace. He was the most confident against Mohammed Aamer in the series. His problems are with spinners, because he goes hard at balls.

Big total put up by Sri Lanka A, 348 for 6 off their 50. Thanks to centuries by Udawatte (161!) and Kapugedera (101).

No Gul or Aamer for Pak but Rana, Afridi, Razzaq and Nazir are playing.

Both their first List A hundreds as well. Makes you wonder what their records would be like if they played on FC standard tracks at domestic level, like in today's game.

Averaged over 100 in A tour to SAF. After Sangakkara, easily the best player of pace SL has in current team. Jayawardane might be the best in handling short stuff, but Sanga and Matthews are very good when ball does something off the seam.
Thanks -- that's very good to know.

So sri Lanka end up with 232 in a typical dumbulla scorecard plenty of starts, average 1st innings there is 175. Murali slogged a entertaining 32 and mathews played a calm innings to propel the score in the last 5 overs. should be good chase.

Why no Umar Akmal for Pak? He had a great A tour and scored an improbable 100 in the warm-up.

Pak need to start looking past Yousuf and Misbah. The World Cup is less than two years away and both players by then will be on the wrong side of 36/7+.

Not sure what Pak are doing. Should have taken the batting PowerPlay overs ago, not wait until the tail appears. Very strange knock from Alam.

Yeah. But then fair play the guy scored better than topline batsmen.

Malinga finishes. Good day's work overall for Sri Lanka.

I didn’t see the match so I’ll take your word for it. But scores of 20, 9, 27, 4, 12, and 9 from the top order look like a batting collapse on paper.

I didn't see it either, but I followed a fair chunk on Cricinfo, and was looking at the fall of wicket numbers rather than the individual scores.
