That's it. Well played England. Well deserved.

Need to pull our socks up or this could get ugly.

YESSSSS 75 years of hurt and all that.

If Freddie doesn't get MOTM It'll be a slight dampener on a brilliant day:)

Oh yes!!!

Brilliant, kept our heads. Sure, we've had a bit of luck, but I'm sure the Aussies have had a bit at some point in the last 75 years too. Fantastic game, brilliant comeback from our guys after last week, and top effort from the Aussies to make us so scared during this run-chase. Bring on Edgbaston. :)

England beat Australia at Lords!
Wow!
Great game of cricket though!

Would absolute love it if somehow Fred could finish with a higher batting average than bowling by the end of this series.

Strauss to be awarded MoM, at which time he will abdicate this honour after witnessing Flintoff, out in the middle, simultaneously tupping a thousand women while healing the swine and crippled on his pedalo.

6 people out bowled, must be pretty unusual for Australia's batting lineup and England's bowling lineup. Dare say there'll be a few where guys like Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram knocked a few stumps over obviously, but they're much more the guys to do that as opposed to the likes of Flintoff and Swann.

For bowling well with 500 runs behind his back? Strauss took the game away from the Aussies right from the start and every single English bowler has benefited from his innings.

Flintoff giving the umpire a hug. FFS.
With good reason tbf.

Nah, WD England, deserved it - outplayed us here. More disciplined with bat and ball - it was almost like the teams swapped caps after Cardiff. Their disciplined bowling was spot on for the way our fellas batted in our first innings.

Good for Mitch to get that 50-odd. Hoping it might get him into the series a bit.

Lastly, a big congratulations to Messrs Doctrove and Koetzen on a quality effort. Accurate, consistent and above all unfailingly correct. Well done them. Didn't alter the result though, and I do wisht to emphasise that.

I wasn't getting into it, just wondering.

Congratulations England.
Rubbish.

Wouldn't have made one iota of difference, anyway. Game was lost in the 1st innings, the decisions just give people ammo to have a whinge.

IMO, it would have been an injustice if we won regardless of the decisions. But still an incredible effort from Clarke for us to get that close.

Well, personally I think we'd of lost and you'd have made history without Freddie. We'll never know though. This pitch does get awfully flat as the match goes along.
