BARNES OUT
He's set to debut I believe.
played about half an hour; scored a pen.Think he is a chance to play v the wolves.
This.Con Constantine always struck me as something of a psychopath though.
He's since reportedly been dropped by the FFA from the job they hired him for.Heard something on the radio this monring re a story I hadn't really been following.
The owner of the Newcastle Jets is considering taking the FFA to court as they paoched van Egmond fromt he club.
ITSTL. Is this the only instance in professional sport where a governing body jumps in and nabs a coach from one of its own franchises? Seems very very odd to me.
Breach of contract. He was signed to the club for 3 or 4 more years.I'm sure other national teams have looked at their best club coaches and offered them jobs before. Not sure what basis they are suing for.
Any chairman who threatens to throw the leader of his supporter group off a balcony has to have a screw loose.Con Constantine always struck me as something of a psychopath though.
I'm pretty excited to see how David Williams goes for the Fury.Official: North Queensland Fury Lose Brendon Santalab To Chinese Super League - Goal.com

Fury notched 1-0 victory over the Roar on Sunday, not sure if the roar sent the 1st XI or not but still, better than the hidings they have been copping recently.I'm pretty excited to see how David Williams goes for the Fury.
A League will be good this year, only **** thing about it is that 6 teams make the finals.
Wish they used the old top 5 League format for the finals.
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what they do for the Asian Cup qualifiers given the previous "A-League only" side. Now that we've actually got some strong players in Asia (Kennedy, North etc.) and in the A-League (Moore, Culina, Sterj, Coyne etc.) I'd hope that they use those guys as the core and bring in some of the more promising young players like Ruka and Spiranovic.Interesting squad. Nice to see a few new blokes getting a chance.
Hopefully the likes of Bozanic, Carle, Holland, Kisnorbo, Madaschi, Mooy, Williams, Spiranovic and Rukavysta also get a game during the Asian Cup qualifiers and they don't give out charity caps.
