*Official* Second Test at Lords

Gee, we've got ourselves into a spot of bother, haven't we. Credit to both Freddie and Jimmy for being on the spot and consistently bowling in good areas. Just goes to show how pivotal it is to bowl in partnerships, keep the pressure on and hound the batsmen for wickets. Unfortunately only the Hilf (who bowled magnificently) and on occassion Siddle could exert some semblance of control when England was batting yesterday.

I reckon this is a situation tailor-made for Hussey, if we can make a start - I am quietly backing him to go on and score a big one. Didn't get a chance to post on the eve of the match, but I always thought that playing Hauritz ahead of Clark for this match was a massive **** up. Clark would have at worst kept it tight, and if he's going well would of utilised the slope better than Sids and snared a few. Hope when Johnson gets to bat he biffs a few, that boy needs a massive confidence pill. Maybe they are wrapped in a few Murray mints? :p

Anyone know the extent of Hauritz' injury? Would be an interesting selection dilemma for Australia he couldn't play the third test. Might even be a good thing, honestly.

Can't say the same for the second innings here though, could be a big problem.

Don't worry, you lot won't need to bowl again

5 wickets so far for Harmy. Broad needs some wickets in this test.
His first-innings was a disappointment though. Had 8 overs for 1 at one point, then conceded 45 off his next 8. Clearly bottling it when it mattered most, in the first-innings.

Either way we're clearly going to be playing for not very much longer here, whether it's going off for bad light or the rain that we've always known was very likely arrives.
