*Official* Second Test at Lords

Before many spectators are even in their seats ...

Hussain was just saying he never gets any when he's on a 100 overnight.
Far from the only one. Funnily enough, both Atherton and Hussain were similar, at least later in their careers.

And isn't it just ridiculous the way some posters and some commentators are going-on about Swann being supposedly done by this short stuff in the opening Test. He played the second-biggest role in saving the game!!!!!!!!

Anyway, with him out you can now bet on England making less than 400 and you have to seriously hope they can make some early inroads, then get to bat in the second-innings and do the job properly.

Yeah. Left Strauss in 2 minds, made a batsmen in good nick leave a ball a tad outside off stump and brought it back in a fraction to take his off stump. That's what every bowler is aiming at. Hitting the top of off stump. He did exactly that, and got through England's best batsmen of the innings.

I think getting dismissed early may be good for England because it means they get a go at Australia while the ball is swinging. If they were to bat until lunch and make 500 then rain ended the day's play, they could end up bowling to Australia with the ball doing nothing. And their bowlers are notoriously reliant on conditions favouring them.

Ball did next to nothing, it was a plain and simple misjudgement. No good bowling really involved at all.

Terrible. Just terrible.

400 all out at best.

Atleast Siddle and Hilfy got the wickets for my fantasy team though.

Let's hope so.
