Hilfenhaus is ****ing awesome. Shame for Australia that he didn't do that second ball yesterday.

Before many spectators are even in their seats ...

Hussain was just saying he never gets any when he's on a 100 overnight.

Going to be a struggle to get 400 now.

Reading this today just isn't nearly as cool as watching it yesterday... :(

Well played Strauss, a top knock.

We've got to be aiming to roll them for sub-400 now.

No, if you actually watched Hughes bat, you'd see that Anderson was setting up Hughes perfectly with a few inswingers before bowling an outswinger that Hughes crashed through cover. Similar to what Hilfenhaus was doing to Pietersen and Bopara, except Anderson was bowling 5mph quicker. Hughes also coverdrove a massive inswinger that was going to hit offstump through cover aswell acouple of times but only resulted in 1 boundry because England put fielders out there. Hughes did the same thing to Steyn in South Africa, great player of swing bowling. Gotta give credit when it's due.
If he has long-term success by hitting the ball constantly off the middle with expansive strokes against swing, then we'll talk.

However, pretty much no-one has ever done such a thing, so we'll wait and see.

It's a harsh call, but Strauss has just undone all the good work he did yesterday with that one tiny brain fart he's just had.

We really do need a miracle to win this Test now; So disapointed again with this batting line-up's lack of bottle.

Far from the only one. Funnily enough, both Atherton and Hussain were similar, at least later in their careers.

And isn't it just ridiculous the way some posters and some commentators are going-on about Swann being supposedly done by this short stuff in the opening Test. He played the second-biggest role in saving the game!!!!!!!!

Not sure how you can criticize Strauss an inch. Stupid comment IMO.
