It is Strauss's fault for that leave. Not sure how you can criticize Strauss an inch. Stupid comment IMO.

He has the highest score of the series. It is Strauss's fault for that leave.
Far from the only one. Funnily enough, both Atherton and Hussain were similar, at least later in their careers. Before many spectators are even in their seats ...
Hussain was just saying he never gets any when he's on a 100 overnight.
Yeah. Left Strauss in 2 minds, made a batsmen in good nick leave a ball a tad outside off stump and brought it back in a fraction to take his off stump. That's what every bowler is aiming at. Hitting the top of off stump. He did exactly that, and got through England's best batsmen of the innings.Really?
Ball did next to nothing, it was a plain and simple misjudgement. No good bowling really involved at all.Yeah. Let's hope so.I think getting dismissed early may be good for England because it means they get a go at Australia while the ball is swinging. If they were to bat until lunch and make 500 then rain ended the day's play, they could end up bowling to Australia with the ball doing nothing. And their bowlers are notoriously reliant on conditions favouring them.
Yeah, it was pretty disappointing how Siddle failed to put in one of his trademark celebrations.Oh FFS this is absolutely ridiculous. Why do I bother watching such spineless batting?
Because you know you feel a little excited to see if Anderson can swing it soon....Oh FFS this is absolutely ridiculous. Why do I bother watching such spineless batting?
I think that's a bit harsh. Australia themselves only started taking wickets when the ball started swinging. And their bowlers are notoriously reliant on conditions favouring them.
