How did Lehroyd-Lahrs go for anyone that watched the whole game?

In my opinion, as a NSW fan, I personally reckon it was a good call Waterhouse being sent off. I initially thought he was the one that knocked Price out, but unsure due to Smitteh's line of reason, saying that he was already knocked out. Will be interesting to see how it goes on now...

Hodges is a **** though. Honestly, massive ****ing douche.

For those of us unable to watch, what exactly did Hodges do tonight to get such universal loathing from NSWmen and Qlders alike?

After the Price KO he started going off at everyone in blue calling them out and saying 'pay them back'. Then went in late against Gidley's kick return. And continued to be a downright ****.

Watching the replay, Gidley WAG, ran it straight back to Costigan.

I thought he was saying to some of the NSW players "Watch your back", which sounds about right for Hodges.

Hodges is such a gun. Freakish player. If only he could stay on the field for long enough.
This. Good to see he was sticking up for his mates too.

Don't really need to comment on the game as theres been about 150 posts on it so far.

Was at Lang Park last night, awesome atmosphere and great Origin contest.

Both teams handling was poor in the first half, but who cares? Made the game more exciting and I loved the passion showed by both teams.

Queensland got what they deserved as NSW have made QLD look good in the first two games. We'll now go into 2010 as underdogs, just the way we like it. lol

Ha no way in hell. You might try to claim underdog status, but I would think the punters will say otherwise.

Reckon Lockyear is bowing out at the right time too. Thought he had a pretty poor game last night. Falling off tackles, was left completely flat footed for Creagh's first try. Will bow out a winner, and won't have hung around for a series too long imo.

I said it in jest really but you never know with Origin and QLD wont way the same team next year with Hunt gone and you never know with Lockyer, Price and Civ although I would be surprised if all 3 played in their last series this year.

Really feel like I need to watch the game again as you don't see everything when your at the ground.

Think Petero will go around again, maybe not Price and Lockyer. Also with Hunt leaving we will have a bit of a different side. Throw Hannant, Folau, Prince, Civoniceva and Myles into that side for Shillington, Lockyer, Tonga, Price and Hunt and we have a side that I dont think NSW can compete with.

Considering he missed last years series he was never not going to play this year if fit. It's a good time for him to step aside as we have Prince who has a few good years left in him. I feel if Lockyer plays one more year then Prince's time may pass and they'll look at someone like Cronk.

Despite possibly Locky and Petro hanging up the boots, the Queensland backline alone will see them as good chances to make it five straight. No doubt NSW will be far more competitive next year. They also have the advantage of two home games, but I am not sure whether one of these matches is to be held in Melbourne again?

Have no idea tbh, too much doubt over players backing up (Cows and Storm) and just plain no idea match ups (Roosters/Warriors).
