Right...no.7 is in. He is in partnership with their no.3 who is also a good bat. They're 55/5 and just above what they need on run rate. If I don't get one of these guys out they'll win.

Edit: I didn't get on of those guys out...they chased us down in 16 overs. Ah well, was to be expected really.

Good win today. After flying back from Pakistan on an overnight red-eye flight the boys landed in Australia 30 mins before the scheduled commencement of play and produced this result:

HBA: 146/4 (Lister 64*, Scholes 30; Mabudafhasi 2/21)
Coco's Nuts: 147/1 (Duncan 87*, Farrell 40; Creasey 1/19)

Got up with 3 balls to spare. Needed 12 off the last over and Hutchison went 6,4,2 off the first 3 balls to get the win. Farrell nearly lost it for us despite scoring 40, taking 58 balls to do so. He's not a good enough bat to hang around for that long usually. Hutchinson finished with 14 off 5 balls.

Punching above my weight in a couple of the Twenty20 games so far.

Chaseable, but need to hope they are a poor bowling side and my batsmen get on a roll.

What a great start...not!

Relying on Mulvaney, Mukhopadhyay and Raisani TBH. Raisani has become rubbish of late, so Nissanka (keeper batting at 5) might have to play a very important role.

5.4 W Gundamaraju to Mukhopadhyay
Gone. Clean bowled. Simple as that.
5.3 W Gundamaraju to Raisani
Oh my! What a ball from Gundamaraju. A terrific yorker. Raisani couldn't get his bat down in time, and the death rattle signifies that he's on his way.

2 wickets in 2 balls, including Mukhopadhyay, game over.

I'm terrible in BT20's.

My third BT20 in consecutive days just started.

Newton is hopeless. He is my best OD player, can't last more than 2 balls in BT20's.

0.2 W Conner to Newton
Through the gate went the ball, and to the pavilion went Newton. A great wicket taking delivery!

Again, great start there. FUUUUUUUUUUU!

Captain might have to be dropped. Both my openers are terrible, trying a new opening combo, not that it's going to do much with Newton getting out so early! Gunna try a completely new combo for next BT20's if we have more, unless my openers find form in between.

My typical BT20 collapse happened, still can make 140+ from here though.

On a hard and fast deck tonight we haven't accelerated the run rate at all. Despite a couple of their bowlers being fatigued. Best bat has 51 off 33 balls but my opener is 33 off 44 balls.

As I type they take 22 off an over:

Duncan now 46 from 47 balls. Takes us to 110 with 4 overs remaining. Hopefully we can post an average score and bowl well.

Next over starts wd, 6, 6, 4

Was in it until they took 17 off the second last over. Now they need 4 off the last...get slightly annoyed when an ordinary bat scores 66 off 43 balls (his rating is 10000 for ****'s sake!). Despite that, him getting out would have only seen a better bat in.

Get a wicket off the first ball of the last over and then go for 4 off the second to lose the game. My best bowler is ****house at Twenty20 it seems. Only scoring at 3 an over for the first 3-4 overs didn't help my cause either.

Keen for my OD match tomorrow, takes longer, I can actually compete, and my players have some decent form in that format.

Last Wicket: Mulvaney Run Out 27 (FOW: 131/3)

Not bad. Mukhopadhyay is a gun. Mulvaney (learn to run between the wickets!) and him are my core, if they fail the whole batting fails.

So, I've got a problem. My two openers are failing most innings. Should I replace them? They started off so good, averaging 50 and 100, and one of them is my captain.

What should I do?
