Dragons don't have enough big game experience in their halves to win it IMO.

Doggies will walk it in if they play the Drags in the finals.
Dunno, Hornby isn't brilliant but experienced he is, hes played for Australia and New South Wales and rarely plays a poor game. Soward while not being experienced is in form and is potential rep player.
Its not brilliant but their halves combo certaintly is nearly as good or is as good as Rovelli/Thurston, Roberts/Kimmorley, Finch/Cronk, Bailey/Orford, and Rogers/Prince.

Jeez Inu missed 2 pretty simple kicks there and running in slow-mo. Can't believe how poor he's become. Kid couldve been anything 2 year ago.

Edit: just daid he has a boil on his leg - might explain the lack of pace.

Of course, his leg's in pain so Anderson gives him the kicking duties. ****wit.

First game in charge of the Junior Magpies 2morrow against Balmain...

Should be a good game given the rivalry both teams have...

Our side is pretty strong. We have a very large and mobile forward pack and our outside backs have plenty of pace. Our downside could be in the halves where we dont really have a strong organiser.

If we can dominate the middle and around the ruck im confident that we will be able to overcome them... Will let you all know how we go...

Cant believe I just sat through the worst NRL game of the season. Why do all the **** ones feature Parramatta?

Looking good for a perfect tipping round though.
Indeed so. The Burgster the only tipper to ace things this round. Respectable 4s for vic, Craigos, McPinch, Kyle, 99* & I, but Simon has shocker, meaning non-submitter Blewy shares his pain:

Burgey: 5
vic: 4
Craigos: 4
pinchy: 4
Brumby: 4
Wright: 4
99*: 4
James90: 3
ripper: 3
NUFAN: 3
Clapo: 3
DCYE: 3
luffy: 3
tozzer: 3
morgieb: 3
PEWS: 3
Ausage: 2
chaminda: 2
Simon: 1

Blewy: 1

Clapo still out on his own at the top, but Kyle joins him, altoz & NUFAN on 80 correct shouts for the year. Simon the big southward mover, dropping from 9th to 14th. Burgey's perfect round moves him up alongside stedders into equal 16th. Blewy now props things up.

Overall:

1) Clapo: 80.04
=2) tozzer: 80.03
=2) NUFAN: 80.03
4) Wright: 80.02
5) luffy: 79.04
6) Brumby: 78.02
=7) PEWS: 77.02
=7) Craigos : 77.02
9) vic: 76.01
10) ripper: 75.01
11) DCYE: 74.04
12) Ausage: 74.01
13) chaminda: 73.03
14) Simon: 73.02
15) 99*: 72.03
=16) James90: 70.01
=16) Burgey: 70.01
18) morgieb: 69.01
19) pinchy: 68.01
20) Blewy: 65.02

You didn't see our game v the Sharks?

It's our brick wall defence mate. Frustrates the opposition and reduces their attack to our **** level.

Happy our blokes up front are at least trying to get some creativity going. Doesn't make up for none in the halves though.

You are totally right. Inu is only a shadow of the player he was a couple of seasons ago. Lost quite a deal of confidence, possibly due to the change of coaching styles? He may also come good in time, in a similar way that Hayne has done. Although not an eels fan, I only wish that he turns the corner and produces some good form for his sake.

When was Inu actually that good though? Was picked for the NZ test side after 1 NRL game and then produced about 8 weeks of quality football.

For me 2-3 months awesome against 2-3 years of average or below average means he probably will never be anything other than decent or solid at best.

Well a disapointing result today... went down 32-24...

We lost it around the ruck. Our ruck defence was terrible to say the least. Our A & B defenders were lazy all game and they continuously made easy metres up the centre putting us on the back foot.

Our halves which were my concern played ok, still want much more control from them but its something we can work on.

Overall a dispointing result as i felt we were much better prepared.

Now to Thursday where we take on the Bulldogs.

The rest of the schedule is:

Thursday: Bulldogs
Saturday: Group 6 (Camden, Picton, Mittagong etc)
Sunday: St George
Next Wednesday: Souths
Next Friday: Penrith
