?Swann strikes me as a complete ****. Lairizing about day 2 when everything was easy, ****ting himeslf like a big Alsatian dog here on day 5, and did **** all in between.
Lose 2 overs for the change of innings..Just curious about something, what happens if England get bowled out in the last over of the day and they lead by some 10-15 runs, then would Australia be allowed to chase those runs, or would the game end in draw..?
Pity it takes 5 days for scenarios like this to occurThis really is a good advertisement for test cricket, you just dont get this in the shorter formats.
If it gets that close then tough luck, should've taken the wickets sooner/declared earlier.Just curious about something, what happens if England get bowled out in the last over of the day and they lead by some 10-15 runs, then would Australia be allowed to chase those runs, or would the game end in draw..?
I love test cricket, but there's no way this test was a good advertisement for the game. This really is a good advertisement for test cricket, you just dont get this in the shorter formats.
It doesn't matter. We're going by overs now, not time. This is a ****ing joke. Collingwood gets to run off the field and have a break. WTF? Is he crook?
Hmm, you sure about that? as surely by that logic if a team was 9 wickets down the bowling side could argue that a result could be achieved fairly quickly. Surely when time is up, it's up.Pretty sure umpires have discretion to continue play if it's forseeable a result can be reached quickly.

Im not doubting that the pitch as a shocker but when it comes down to scenarios like this it is at its best.I love test cricket, but there's no way this test was a good advertisement for the game.
**** pitch, lots of ****ty batting, and at times good bowling.
That with time-wasting occurring on day 4.
Inclined to agree. Day 5 has been riveting, but was pretty mediocre fayre before. Australia have been disciplined and workmanlike and we've been gash.I love test cricket, but there's no way this test was a good advertisement for the game.

Could be an exciting end, but a good test is enthralling all the way through, not in patches at the start and the end.
