*Official* First Test at Swalec Stadium, Cardiff

Norwood's on Fire
Broad will bounce back from this Test, for sure.

Feel sorry for Colly, should have had at least one other specialist try and stick with him for a little while. Have faith in Swann to stick around for a little, as much as I love Jimmy I don't think this is the sort of situation where we can expect too much from him with the bat. And as for Monty, well...

so basically, this partnership is the most important of the Ashes so far. Eek.

Don't worry lads, Swann averages 52, he may rescue you yet.
Yeah, he made a comment on Thursday in his interview that he had been eager to inform all of his team-mates that he had the highest batting average in the dressing room

Like this Siddle bloke's style by the way. I'm taking a real dislike to him, sort of guy you want in your team IMO.

International Coach
So did Glenn McGrath, seemed to work for him.
Except that Glenn McGrath did threaten the stumps. He got very close to the stumps when he bowled, hence even if he got the slightest bit of seam movement, you knew the ball could come back and hit the top of off stump.

England's physio a real model of fitnes, what?

Best set of man-cans I've seen in a few years. Played.
