Yep they had to do it now really though they aren't going to hav hardly any time to try and get the 1st wicket as the rain is knocking on Cardiff's door now, should be in the next 15-30 mins I'd guess...and once it comes in there aren't many breaks, may get some play in the late eveing possibly but that'll be it.
Thanks. Rain or no rain, I can't wait to see the Aussies bowl with an attacking field and plenty of runs to play with.:laugh::laugh:

agree, as tempting as it is to label them everything under the sun, if England make 5/300 or similar to save the match quite comfortably, I sense a psychological victory/nullification on their behalf from the carnage we just witnessed.
Sorry, but there is no "nullification" of what we have just witnessed

1-3 of Eng's front-line bowlers have to be dropped for the next test

What a batting performance by Australia. 4 100s. Dont remember when it happened last time.

To quote from the Wired World of Sports football match between England and Australia "England in deep ****sky"

Some may say Cook missed a straight delivery; I say skill on behalf of the bowler to skid a ball on at 147 km's.

Great start, long way to go.
