Zokora, Eboue, Adebayor, Silvestre. I wouldn't be able to watch us for fear of my head exploding from the pure ****ery wearing our kit.

Whats the difference?. All are very skillful & versatile mid-fielders who can play as CAM or on either wing.
Thats true, there are indeed some similarities, but Nasri and Rosicky are much more dynamic, driving force type players, whereas the two dutch lads are much more typical playmaker, edge of the area type players.

Surely VDV & Sneijder have the game to do welll in England. If similar style players like Nasri & Rosicky can?
Rosicky is perpetually injured and what has Nasri done so far?

I can see Sneijder working out but van der Vaart for me is one of the most overrated footballers going. His knees went before his 21st birthday.

Nas has showed bits and pieces but looks heavily awkward playing on the wings. I've said it a billion times that just because Pires succesfully made the transition to winger doesn't mean we can keep buying central attacking midfielders and lumping them out there.

Arsene gets too clever for his own good at times, would love us to actually buy players who are specialists for where we want to play them.

Seems like QPR are taking a cue from Man U, as they buy Argentine second division midfielder Damian Faurlin for 3.5m.

Don't fancy he would play much though and would be out on loan based on what I've heard about his current stage of development.

At first I thought he probably had an Italian passport, but it looks like he will need a WP, and since he is in the Argentine second division, I have no idea how they intend to get him one as he wouldn't have played for Argentina. And it's not like QPR are a big club either.

Harsh on Eboue. He is usless playing as a winger, not his fault. Still dont see why Arsenal would want to get rid of Adebayor, he aint the prob. Its the mid-field.

Zokora has never look like crap at spurs. Definately premiership quality, not good enough for a top 4 team like Arsenal though.

It's Adebayor's attitude that he comes off as a **** is the reason people want him to leave.

RVP on a new long term contract was possibly the only thing that could've made me any happier than I already was :D

In big transfer news, Robbie Fowler has rubbished reports of him going to Tranmere and is staying with the North Queensland Fury. His loss IMO.

Thought he was decent enough last season, especially with his stop-start season re: injury. Have no idea on his goals/games ratio last season, but it'd be decent enough. I know his work off the ball (what work? exactly) was poor last season compared to previous but still, as a poacher last season was far from poor.

Yeah, I may have been a bit harsh in my criticism. What irks me the most is how inconsistant his performances are, this has been a problem ever since he signed for the club. One match he can look like an absolute world beater and the next he will miss a few sitters and just generally look uninterested, just makes him an incredibly frustrating player. I don't really have that much against him, but feel if a good price can be reached for him then it really would be best to sell, as I don't think he's a particularly integral part of the team.

Haha I always find it funny how random players like him, Phill Babb and Matt Derbyshire end up moving to teams on the continent for a few years.

Impressed my Town affliliated chums when he was there a few years back. Think Ipswich wanted to take him on permanently, but were only just out of administration so couldn't afford him.
