That's like me getting a wicket with a straight ball against Geoff Boycott's mum.
It was a very poor pull shot by Rohit....

Also, technically, Morton had replaced Simmons for the last ODI in England, so it can be argued that Morton has retained his place. Let's see what he actually does with it, though!

Oh and there is swine flu in Jamaica. Only a few cases though for the whole few weeks it has been.

Xuhaib, surely you can't be saying that Yuvraj's three sixes were boring....
The turnout for this match is poor.

Maybe instead of four ODIs, they should've staged one ODI and a 20/20 in Jamaica, and one ODI and a 20/20 in St Lucia....

I'm sure the 20/20s would've been sold out!

non-entertaining version does the job tbh.Still striking 91 btw
What was his average before he became defensive? Around 47? A 4 run increase in average was not worth sacrificing his attacking gameplay. Would have been a specialist no.3 in the line up.

Striking at 91 by picking singles and twos and some 4s. Miss his windmill sixes that he hits off yorkers. That shot has completely disappeared from his book. He doesn't have that uniqueness anymore that he once had.

Don't think he would have maintained it. I think it was a wise decision in an explosive line up like India a guy averaging 50 with a SR of 80 will be more value then a guy who strikes at 100 with an avg of 35.

With Yuvi, Rohit, Raina, Yusuf and Veeru you need atleast one stabilizing factor, though windmill shot was awesome.

Rohit might get replaced soon if he doesn't work on his short ball defeciency. Hope he is replaced by Badrinath for a couple of years. If he plays, he is a better stabilizer than Dhoni. Would love to see Dhoni playing aggressively again.
