Will take that. Held nerve in that second breaker.
I'd be checking the betting patterns of that much to be safe then. The funniest thing about the Altman exit is that I've always imagined him to be a Davydenko clone. Not to take the shine off the Rivers win or anything...
At least I didn't embarrass myself. Onwards and upwards from here!Zucchetti Kos Tennis Cup
1st Round - Cordenons (Italy)
Men's Singles (Finals - Top Half - Bottom Half)
Men's Doubles (Draw)
[*]Little know CWLander Marcuss Deane has fallen in the second round of the Zucchetti Kos Tennis Cup in Italy after a three-set loss to Chile's Renato Varas. Deane fired down twenty aces for the match, but it wasn't enough to upstage Varas despite taking the first set. With the first sixteen games going on service without a break point between the players, Varas took his opportunity to break the tall British born player to set up an ultimately set winning lead. The same occurred in the third as the Chilean eighth seed managed to break Deane's service early to produce the goods 6-7(1), 6-4, 6-4.- Elsewhere, one time Roland Garros finalist Johan Ortiz looks to have his best chance yet of claiming a title after a 6-2, 6-4 thrashing of local wildcard Andrea Ciano. Ortiz has slumped to 116 in the world on the back of some frustrating early exits, but his job was made easier with news top seed Adem Tadić was beaten in straight sets by Ecuador's Paul Arroyo. Ortiz now faces Argentina's Xavier Suarez in the quarterfinals.
- Seeded players out: Adem Tadić; Stipo Vučemilović; Victor Zsasz.
