Is Greg Inglis out of this week's game v Raiders? Ben Hannant is out for the next 4-6 weeks with a grade two knee medial ligament strain, so any takers for his replacement? In other news Sydney Roosters sign South African youngster JP du Plessis.


Also IMO Trent Barrett is lucky he only got two games on the sidelines. If it were a normal club game then I think the ref probably would have sent him off.

Matt Scott who was 18th man in Origin 1 and is playing good footy for NQ must be a big chance to come in for Hannant. Costigan could easily come in too although hes definitely more of a second rower so it wouldn't work as well.

Given that Price and Petro might have one more campaign in them and the series is wrapped up I reckon Kenny might get a shot. He has been the only Bronco forward who can hold his head high each week and he looks Origin material.

Yeah, good summary by Burgey as usual. I think a metaphor for the whole NSW performance were the first two tries from Inglis and then Folau. Nothing was happening, but they just ran straight through. In Origin, you guard your line like you'd defend your house and family if burglars broke in. It's a test of your manhood; it goes to your very being. Those two tries were embarrassing in the Jim Beam Cup let alone the rarified cauldron of Origin.

Scott and Shillington are both much better than Kenny at this point of their careers.

Shillington could be a good shot, his form has been down in the past 4-5 weeks but he basically has 2 games now to make that spot his. If not him then I dont think Nick Kenny is a bad shout, I'd still rather he have one or two more years leading the Broncos pack before he plays Origin though. A shame Ben Ross is injured yet again, he would have been a good replacement.
