One wonders for example why they did not think to squeeze in a T20 match for Kenya's visit in July, for example
Atleast am very happy this time that ever IC Cup match is also linked with 2 Odis. Which was missing all these years. Way to go. Now that Zim A is playing evey Team should play more Odis against Zimbabwe & try to arrenge Tri-Series. Ireland especially... By the way when are the fixtures coming out?One wonders for example why they did not think to squeeze in a T20 match for Kenya's visit in July, for example
Only the ICC really knows that. Probaly once they have the go-ahead from the European countries that might have trouble sending their teams to tour Zimbabwe.Atleast am very happy this time that ever IC Cup match is also linked with 2 Odis. Then they can host Zimbabwe matches in Saf or Nam?Only the ICC really knows that. Probaly once they have the go-ahead from the European countries that might have trouble sending their teams to tour Zimbabwe.
Same situation as Ireland, most of their County pros are skipping the Intercontinental cup and only featuring in the ODIs against Kenya. Its just got no incentive.ODIs (in Amstelveen, 11 and 12 July): Jeroen Smits (HCC, captain), Peter Borren (VRA), Mudassar Bukhari (ACC), Daan van Bunge (Excelsior ’20), Ryan ten Doeschate (Essex), Tom de Grooth (HCC), Alexei Kervezee (Worcestershire), Edgar Schiferli (Quick Haag), Pieter Seelaar and Nick Statham (both Hermes-DVS), Eric Szwarczynski (VRA), and Bas Zuiderent (VOC).
Intercontinental Cup (in Rotterdam, 15-18 July): Borren (captain), Wesley Barresi (VRA), Bukhari, Van Bunge, De Grooth, Mark Jonkman (HCC), Bart Schilperoord (Hermes-DVS), Seelaar, Statham, Szwarczynski, and Berend Westdijk (HBS). Twelfth man to be announced.
I wonder where Dirk Nannes is, is he playing county cricket or back to victoria for the pre/season....
anyway, seems like a lot of players are unavaileble for the Intercontinential cup, pity!
question remains ; where is our lord and saviour Dirk !!!Same situation as Ireland, most of their County pros are skipping the Intercontinental cup and only featuring in the ODIs against Kenya. Its just got no incentive.
