Six run penalty (for slow over rate) for Surrey v Kent still wasn't enough to give them the match. Surrey lost by one run when Dernbach was run out with a ball remaining. Key was fuming about the penalty by the sound of it.

Yeh..that last partnership scored a few more runs than they should have...but still...it's the lowest score that anyone has scored against Durham in Twenty20, and the 40 run margin should improve the runrate a bit.

Ha, bloody hell. This might complete my transformation into reactionary old fart, but isn't that a teensy bit over-sensitive? The Crusaders represent Canterbury in the Super 14 without any (that I know of) issues from NZ jews or muslims.

Tis unfortunate for the Northern teams to have better quality sides and not some whipping boys to help with getting one of the two best 3rd placed team qualification spots. Would be a miracle if more than two teams go through I reckon.
