Going down Aigburth tomorrow.

Looking forward to see Freddie ton up. :p
Providing Lancs don't collapse, it could be an interesting day, especially as you're going to see VVS bat. A lengthy Freddie innings could be a great spectacle. I expect a full review of his innings tomorrow!

Oh and the trademark late wicket to make Saj Mahmood's figures look less horrific. Wondering why he bowled so many overs.

Yes looking at the stats, doesn't seem to have been one of Saj's most memorable innings. There is a second innings however for him to still play a part in this game.

P.s. It was a good wicket though wasn't it ? Mascarenhas when he was set and presumably seeing it like a beach ball!

slogging out with the last man more likely. Anyway not like him to get a solitary wicket, after his previous Lancashire games this season had yeilded 0,8,0 & 10 wickets

For Lancashire sake I hope he doesn't have much of a second innings to bowl in, because to save this game we're going to have to bat till tea.

Yes it was very much tongue in cheek, my quip about Mahmood.

Yes should really have very little else Mahmood should Lancs bat well. Maybe pick up a few scalps towards the end of the day.

50 up for Fredders, and with Hogg also going well Lancashire have moved on to 176-2. Set up for him to bat for a long time as it's unlikely Lancs will be able to declare.

Such a pity there's no commentary on this one given that there's so little cricket worth following today.

lol, did bumble just unleash a quote from the fast show

Lancs in a good position at Liverpool, go through if they win this. Flintoff hasn't had a great game though

Lancashire without Flintoff...2 losses in something like 19 games....Lancashire with Flintoff 3 losses in 3 games....are we sure we want him to play in the Ashes? :p

Surrey are probably wishing the lights had stayed off now I should think. Needed a cameo from Nel just to get past 100.

Anyone see Ali Brown's batting in the Notts v Yorks game? 66 off 32. He might be nearly 40 but still reckon there's no better limited overs opener in the country this side of Tres. Could've used him in the 2020 WC.

Sammy Patel did well too, perhaps took longer to play himself in the might be ideal, but made 30-odd at better than a run a ball. Bowled really tightly too; 4 overs went for 16 and picked up Mick Vaughan for his troubles.

Fatter than ever tho, but. Worryingly so tbh.

for goodness sake, 2 overs into the Derbyshire v Durham match, and they've gone off because of good light
That'll keep happening until they turn the wicket round - whoever thought it would be a good idea to have it facing east-west is the question.

Great effort by Somerset to chase 177 with an over to spare against Worcs - there haven't been too many matches like that this season. I reckon the selectors will be quite interested in Kieswetter when he becomes available.

Durham could have really done with Warner playing the earlier T20 games. Pretty much need to win all of their remaining games.
