Yeah England are crying out loud for someone who can come and hit the ball from the word go. They dont have anyone who can do that in the side, all of them need to play themselves in.

Weird innings. Lots of rubbish bowling from India but apart from KP England failing to capitalize. India should have a decent shot of getting this total but I can't see us beating a good side with this attack.

Should be quite comfortable for India, with a decent bowling attack (including 2 decent spinners) that might be competitive but England don't have one, and it looks like the pitch won't suit Broad & Anderson anyway

so despite being gifted some 20 runs thanks to Harbhajan Singh and the Indian fielding, we still managed only 153. I hope England have some well thought out plans for how to bowl to all of the Indian players, otherwise this game will be decided even before we can get past the first 10 overs.

I think it's just about defendable, after all it's more then the Lankans got against Ireland, so not as risible as some are making out.

Need early wickets (so no Dimi opening please), and obviously getting Yuvrav early is key. India are massive faves though, I'd say 1-5.

India needs to not only win, but win relatively easily. Like chase in 18.3 overs or less.

I wouldn't call this bowling completely dire tbh. 3 bowlers failed: Zaheer, Ishant and Yuvraj. 3 bowlers did well: Harbhajan, Jadeja and RP Singh.
