Did you hear about the rule the Springboks used to employ? IF there was any foul play by the opposition, a call would go out, and every player in the Springbok side would go to the nearest opponent and punch his lights out.. They based this on the fact that the referee wouldn't be able to send the entire team off in one go, and apparently it worked a treatThe 1956 New Zealand v South Africa rugby series (very violent - Skinner a cheater).
..
Wasnt that was the '99' called used by the Lions against SA?Did you hear about the rule the Springboks used to employ? Paula Radcliffe is commentating on the Worlds for the BBC and now she's not competing and has some meat on her bones she's quite attractive.Paula Radcliffe quitting the Olympic marathon once she realised she wasn't going to win, then doing the exact same thing in the 10,000m. Pathetic. A British triathlete who came last in his event summed it up a few days later, having got a puncture in his bike and had to carry it for 2km, before doing the running section of the race - "I got the puncture and that pretty much ruined my chances, but it's the Olympics - you've got to keep going.".
I agree, although there may be an element of 'as we age our expectations reduce' at workPaula Radcliffe is commentating on the Worlds for the BBC and now she's not competing and has some meat on her bones she's quite attractive.
Possibly. But I don't fancy Gabby Logan so it's not conclusive.I agree, although there may be an element of 'as we age our expectations reduce' at work
You're clearly more discerning than I amPossibly. But I don't fancy Gabby Logan so it's not conclusive.
If Murray does 9 years in a row constantly in the top echelons of players, I'll be shocked.
It was good though. Most cricket gamesmanship was invented by Australia. Dennis Lillee was one of the first, if not the first, to regularly bowl a spell and then go off for a shower and change of clothes and come straight back out and bowl again.Pratt's performance was fine. The fact England put him on the park throughout the series at 15 minute intervals while their bowlers went off for a drink and a towel-down was a disgrace.
