Not sure why you're upset about it, but I'm gutted. Posted the below earlier in the week. Not happy that Joseph Tomane has signed with the Titans btw.
Think he looks like a real star in the making and our inabilty to keep our most promising young players is begining to grate. Also just read in the paper that Tomane is not signed for next year. Might be a huge mistake for the storm as his price would surely have risen significantly last night. Might have even priced himself out of the club, with the vultures sure to be already circling.
Bronco's CEO has told the NRL they won't play, for the safety of the players. Not sure if it will count as a default or not though. Sounds like it will.Last I heard was that Broncos are refusing to play tomorrow night...?
Am I just hearing ****, or has that been confirmed?
If that's the case, ****ing whiny pricks.
Welcome to the NRL. That's the way the salary cap ends up sending things. Willy Isa for example.Think he looks like a real star in the making and our inabilty to keep our most promising young players is begining to grate.
Apparently a majority of the Melbourne SG Ball side (or equivalent) are Melbourne/Victorian bred, and until a lot of those players start coming through the ranks there are going to be a lot of players who return home to be closer to family, particularly the younger players. Not happy that Joseph Tomane has signed with the Titans btw.
Given they've spent the last 3 days in quarantine, the Broncos really haven't had the proper preparation. Given the physicality of the NRL there is risk of injury, and of course the team being under prepared.Last I heard was that Broncos are refusing to play tomorrow night...?

Oh waaa waaaa, Teams have had to deal with sickness and Illness to squads in the past which have effected their preparations, why should the Bronco's get any special dispensation?? Oh thats right i forgot the whole competition revolves around those north of the border...Given they've spent the last 3 days in quarantine, the Broncos really haven't had the proper preparation. They have since said the game will go ahead, however it is unsure what the lineup will be given Hunt has been confirmed with the Swine Flu and Winterstein was rushed to Hospital during the week with flu symptoms.
Haha. I can't think of a time when the whole side was put into quarantine for 3 days and unable to train for that amount of time.Oh waaa waaaa, Teams have had to deal with sickness and Illness to squads in the past which have effected their preparations, why should the Bronco's get any special dispensation?? Congratulations on spectacularly missing the point.Oh waaa waaaa, Teams have had to deal with sickness and Illness to squads in the past which have effected their preparations, why should the Bronco's get any special dispensation?? TBF the bait was pretty average. This place is no fun anymore, people just don't bite like they used to
Well, I certainly think the Roosters should be better than the Titans. It definitely hasn't panned out that way so far this year - the Roosters are categorically worse, for whatever reason, and will most likely lose, but I haven't taken that into consideration with my tips this weeks because I'm bored and angry. Probably won't work, but meh.In saying that you believe Bulldogs are better than Broncos and Roosters are better than Titans?
You and me support the same team in the NRL. Don't ask why I follow Melbourne, I'm not sure myself, I just do. That said I do cheer on the Titans in their games (not Melbourne). Not sure why you're upset about it, but I'm gutted. Posted the below earlier in the week.
