Durham have been garbage in limited overs cricket this season. Too many passengers in T20 particularly. There's all of two players who are averaging 20 or above.

Problem with the lights at Hove I hear - not good news for a match starting at 7.10 pm ...

Goodwin out to a fine catch by Stevens.

No Mr Z tonight? Pity, I was hoping to chat through this one with him. Sussex struggling just a touch at the moment, 35-2 after seven. Fine bowling from Cook, 2-1-4-1.

Another day, another win, long may it continue. Have to be pretty much certain of a QF place now.

Good to see Tom Smith score runs again.

On we roll, shame no-one can score any runs against us...

Interesting scenario at Hove now. The light is definitely going to go before the end, Sussex have a low score (easier on DL) but it's a worn, slow wicket (easier to lose wickets). Has the potential for absolute carnage.

Muchall looked decent on Tuesday (was at the the game) and Onions did as well. Not much else apart from that.

Not sure how Duckworth and Lewis gave that one to Sussex. All ten wickets left and 9 overs to get 70 runs looks pretty straightforward for the batting side to me.

Yeah, it looks pretty dire on the face of it to finish two short with all their wickets in hand, but of course Denly and Stevens were conscious that if a wicket fell the D/L target would rise by another 10-12 runs. They had to score quickly without taking risks, which is never an easy thing to do.

Anyway that's the end of the T20 for now, proper cricket resumes tomorrow. Surrey have signed Ryan Harris for the next three CC matches  (not sure on what basis he can play, is he replacing Elliott?). Irony is that they're all away games so most Surrey supporters won't get to see him.

Sorry I was out of action last night - drinking ridiculously heavily with my brothers - and only became aware of the shenanigans at Hove when I blearily read the paper this morning.

Sounds like it was all a bit embarrassing really.

Looks like the first day at OT will be rained out today. Had an inch of rain over the last 24 hours supposedly (only had 3 inches in the year before that). If it stops they'll get some play in (the outfield still looks decent on the webcam) but unfortunately its not forecast to stop raining all day

Edgbaston already abandoned for the day. Every other match delayed except at Chelmsford where Middlesex are batting.

I know I always say this, but we haven't had a drop here.

It was only £1 entry today and all. :(

Just two games on today with the stars being Onions with 3/19 against Hampshire and Chris Wright with 4/56 against Middlesex

Wonder if Durham can finally turn their advantage into a win, so annoying the way they've drawn games they've dominated.

Got a few overs in today..i don't know how, just drove back from Nottingham and it pissed it down the whole way.

Good to see Horts getting a few championship runs. Not sure about the decision to drop Croft for Mal Loye though...Brown or Cross should be next in line if they are dropping a batsman tbh. Both have been scoring in the second XI and Mal Loye has had just one match back from injury and obviously offers less in the field
