Interesting see-saw battle between Ljubicic and Juan Carlos Ferrero atm. Wish it was being shown on Fox Sports, though it is always cool seeing Tsonga play.

Took Serena 9 match points to finally beat world #100 Zakapulova in 3 sets. Really struggled to move on the court, was weird how she would dominate and then fall away. Had 5 match points in the 2nd and lost them all, then took 4 to finally take it in the 3rd. Was a break down, then a break up, then broken back, then finally won.

Dokic looks like she'll get through to the 2nd round :)

Blake is such a top bloke, I don't like laughing at his failures (especially since he returned from a serious neck injury and face paralysis), but he is the most disappointing top 10 player I've ever seen.

Always good for a bet against him though :)

Blake losing is always a bit of a laugh, but when its to someone thats a million in the world its even funnier. Opens up Haas' little part of the draw too after he thumped Pavel. Hopefully a nice little third or fourth round showing would be good for him.

Murray loses the second set against Starace. Starace's playing very well, but Murray doesn't really have an answer. When he's under pressure he reverts to defence and lets the opponent dominate, just hoping they stop playing so well. He'll still win the match, but it's a problem he needs to address.

Starace is a pretty decent clay courter, though. If he wasn't so ****ing abysmal elsewhere he'd probably be close to a seed.

Fair play to him for coming up with the answers in the third set, came back from 5-1 down to take it 7-5. Would have been in serious trouble there.

Murray flicks switches during his matches. It makes for entertaining tennis at the very least, where he'll just go into 'winner' mode.

Apparently Starace was just drop shotting him whenever he felt like it (was out so didn't see the match). He supposedly has the best drop shot in men's tennis, statistically anyway.

Would have to be good, because Murray is lighning.

Sharapova vs. Petrova was a good match, well the 3rd set anyway. Good fight back from Sharapova, who was down 2-4 and 15-40 in the 3rd, but won 8-6.

Petrova and Kuznetsova are two of the biggest Russian chokers though. Makes for incredible viewing where the commentators can predict the player tightening up before it even happens.

Safin has come back from 2 sets down against unknown Frenchman Josselin Ouanna to be a break up in the 5th :D

Meanwhile, my boy Gabashavili has took 7 games off Nadal in their match. Good effort :D

Had a bit of money on Ouanna after 1 set, but didn't mind who won.

Managed to watch the 5th set, really like the way he plays. Was awesome viewing.

Had heaps of chances in the 5th to break and take the match, but couldn't capitalise. Thought Safin would then steal it, but no go.

....glad to see he still won the match,(was at work so didnt get to see it)... but he cant afford to play this way at this level..he does need to sort these things out quickly..

Federer in real trouble - down a double break in the third. Acasuso is playing well but Federer is absolutely imploding here. Was lucky to take the first set.

Yeah, same problem as always. Backhand has been well off.

Hopefully he loses the third set here (Acasuso serving for it). Will make it interesting.

So no surprises that Federer runs away with it, but few warning bells one would think.

Rogowska up a break against Bondarenko in the first set. :)

Monaco-Tsonga should be a pretty awesome match.

Was about to come here and post that. Tsonga went in under-dog, but you'd think the French crowd will get him over the line.

Tsonga in 4 I reckon, but not confident. If Monaco is on, he's very tough to beat on clay.
