Lebron looked rough at the end there, you can't imagine he'll be feeling too good in 2 days time.
Barkley nailed it with his analysis just then. James has to make every play on offence and because of how slow Ilgauskus is on defence is stuck with guarding one of Hedo or Lewis and at the same time having to be active on the help D of the other one.

Not sure why they didn't use Joe Smith more often in the rotation, he's a more mobile defender of bigs.

i thought sir charles was talking through his ass when he predicted a magic victory...the series is far from over but he might just have a point..

Last time the teams played the Magic blew Cleveland out 116-87. Funny how no-one in Ohio seemed to have been watching then. Far from over but this series is on.

Brooks (Chapel Hill, NC): Watching the LA-Denver game last night, the touch foul that gave Kobe those two free throws really pissed me off. I've watched some great hockey games in past few weeks - couldn't the NBA throw me a bone and let the players decide the outcome? (pre-horrendous outlet pass of course)

SportsNation Bill Simmons: Um, which touch foul? The Lakers got every call in the last 5 minutes. Could you narrow it down for me?

Heh. Wag

Kleiza finally started to play for his next contract. Took him all season. Denver shouldn't be in this game. They were ass water for most of the first half.

Carmello really shooting well for Denver now which should be a concern for the Lakers. Got 2-3 baskets from the deep.

So much for the officials favouring the Lakers.
Denver have got a lot of questionable calls in this game.

Although LA should have put them away in the first half.

Did you see the calls Gasol has been getting on the Denver bigs? They're not allowed to jostle on the boards apparently.

Yeah, but Bill Simmons was suggesting that LA were getting all the calls going their way. That's definitely not the case.

Denver got luck on that jump ball, again.

No-one gets every call, refs are going to make mistakes. But the touch/contact calls are so ridiculously subjective and LA are getting the large proportion of them.

EDIT: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course.

I have a feeling this series is gonna go the distance. As soon as one team gets a lead they tend to fall asleep, and then all of a sudden the scores are even again.

So so awesome.

EDIT:

And laughed uncontrollably when I saw this face Nene made at the end.

ok both top seeds have lost home court advantage...it's far from over but nuggets vs magic in the finals was not a scenario even their most ardent fans would have imagined...

"It ain't just going to be us and Orlando lay down so [LeBron and Kobe] can play in two weeks," Martin said. "That ain't going to happen. I'm going to make sure it don't. Y'all can go home and play NBA Live or something like that if y'all want to see that matchup. We're going to have something to say about it."

Goddamn, it's hard not to love how this team plays ball. Old Skool powerhouse basketball. Lakers and Cleveland might be a drea final but it looks like these dawgs are up for the fight.

Hilarious how the same people who called Melo overrated and barely a top 15 player in the last couple of years are now calling him a superstar.
