Cricket, Lovely Cricket
Want Bangalore to lose so that Rajasthan have more of a chance qualifying. So I am chuffed that the first wicket is down.

Not sure about Bangalore, they rely to much on Taylor at the moment and to a lesser extent Boucher to get the quick runs, I know I am biased but they really should have persisted with Ryder.

B'lore's win means that its game against DC will be like a QF

The way Delhi is playing its cricket, I won't be surprised if it loses to a team that's more focused

*posted the below on the other thread*

here is how the race for semis stands after today's game

If k11 wins against CSK then
1. Delhi
2. winner of DC vs BRC
3. K11
4. CSK [for RR to get in, it will not only have to beat KKR but do something spectacular with its NRR]

if K11 loses against CSK and RR wins against KKR then
1. Delhi
2. CSK
3. winnner of DC vs BRC
4. RR

if K11 and RR both lose
1. Delhi
2. CSK
3. Winner of DC vs BRC
4. Loser of DC vs BRC or K11 [based on NRR]

Oram's out? Disappointing..he's had practically no opportunity with the bat.
Yeah, but he hasn't even been bowling, so it makes sense.
It's weird how Oram has kept his spot in his teams XI while doing nothing, when other NZers such as Ryder, Mills, and Styris have hardly been given a chance.

Taylor could be included in that list too, he had to play the knock of the tournament and follow it up every match just to secure himself a place in Bangalore.

Bangalore doesn't count really. Their XI selection process has always been strange and knee-jerk to say the least. If you don't perform in one game there's a good chance you'll get the axe. Just ask White, Steyn etc.

Yeah, I can understand Oram being dropped but it would have been interesting to see what he could do with more time in the middle. He's never been the type of guy to just blast from the outset, so he needs an over or so to get his eye in. Would have liked to have seen him bat number 4 maybe.

Disappointed for Ryder and Styris. Ryder is quality and deserved more chances IMO and despite his batting not being the greatest he has done a good job with the ball. Guys like Uthappa (yeah, I know he's Indian but he still could have been replaced) maintain their spots despite being absolutely woeful throughout the whole tournament. Styris was bitterly unlucky, he was doing a really good job with the ball and had had virtually no chances with the bat before he got dropped. Unfortunately for him his replacement (Dwayne Smith) destroyed everyone with the bat.

Whatever it takes!!!
where u guys gettin this info?

BTW, how funny is it that the two wins of KKR have come against the top two sides in the league table as of now?
