Well yes, but I imagine there's a directive from Sky to prevent that happening, given that that's when they go on air and it wouldn't give them any time to preview the day's play. They're the reason we're seeing Tests in early May at all. I haven't been listening, but I guess that Gower, Knight and co haven't been too critical of the scheduling.
Not sure they'd been too bothered they can just come on air earlier. It's more to do with possiibility of dew on the ground that they don't earlier (not particularly relavent in this match i know). When the test matches were split and Sky had 1-2 a year, thes terrestial matches used to start earlier (10.45 or 10.30 iirc) because they didnt want the cricket to disrupt prime time but sky still had theirs at 11 as this was the ECB's preffered time and sky didn't have a problem with clashing with Hollyoaks. I think the opinion is that a start time before 11 just in most cases skews the contest towards the bowlers
It would help if WI could actually bowl a couple of full & straight ones for him to swing & miss. Not his fault, but he's really adding nothing to England's chances of winning the game now.
Hope so - he's been acting like a prize one ever since Jimmy walked to the wicket.
To be fair his partnership with Cook went along at over 4 runs an over (and he scored as many as Cook)
