Cricketer Of The Year
The field placings were terrible, bar that one chance on Smith. You could drive a DP1 off tracks between the fielders. We saw several boundary-cutting fields getting cut for boundaries so often. The bowling wasn't that bad, as many bowlers bowled well but the pitch was flat, the fielding fell flat and the fielding arrangements were quite awful. Compare that with the water-tight field settings of the Royals.
Would you still consider Yuvraj as a captaincy contender for India? He was in contention, at one point of time.

The massive total of the Royals has had a rather damaging effect on the Arsenal batting lineup. Karan, Katich and KC threw their wickets away in pursuit of quick runs. There may even be questions asked about Sanga and Mahela coming in ahead of Yuvraj and Irfan. They've been way too slow. Not a single 'Maximum' yet.

Hopes was a liability last season. He scored a few runs, but leaked loads of runs when called on to bowl, and Yuvraj somehow had the temptation to bowl him.
They've had Yuvraj batting too low down the order, the Sanga-Mahela due wasted too many deliveries in the middle and weakened the batting chase when some explosive batting was needed and now their batting has gone to sleep. They'll miss Brett Lee a lot more.

I'd be surprised if Marsh came back anytime soon due to his hammy problems.

I reckon they've been fielding a below par team most of this IPL mostly due to the lack of Australians and horrible horrible use of Yuvraj. Why doesn't he come in earlier? Makes no sense

They've got a bowling attack based on India prospects (Irfan, Chawla, Sreesanth and occasionally VRV Singh), with one Indian domestic regular (Powar) and a South African 'T20 Specialist' (Abdulla), so that's not a problem. We're seeing some bowling attacks with bowlers inferior to the worst of this bunch, including Rajasthan. The way they've been used, however, is questionable, and there are a few things the bowlers themselves need to get right.
