Play up Pompey, tbh.

They take a point and it's looking bad for yer Geordies. Albion stiffing the Mackems has given them a vague sniff now too. Interesting times down in the basement.

Well done Pothas and Brentford.

Utterly gutted ATM, Winning at Rotherham (sheffield even) is going to be a ****ing hard task, but we must do it now :(
Such a relief, really important for the club that we got back into league 1 quickly and two seasons isn't bad. Just looking for a nice boring mid table next year.

Still think you will do it.

See you in league 1 next season.

Last few years a team has normally pulled off a miraculous escape, Fulham doing it last year, would be surprised if Albion do it but given recent history can't rule it out. Still think Newcastle might just get out of it at the expense of Sunderland and Hull, both have been awful of late and Newcastle still have some winnable home games left.

Think i am losing my enthusiasm for United. Because regardless of how fantastic that second half-performance was (obvious memories of 01 came rushing back). I was more pleased to see Bent score & the Woodgate/King partnership in action.

I think it's more looking at England players, but tbh if he really thinks king-woodgate will ever be fit for England he's dreaming.

As for Darren Bent:unsure:

Anyway who's everyone supporting tonight?

I'm all for Barca, myself:)

Woodgate has been fit all season & has been a key defensive rock in Tottenham's recent resurgence. Capello just has preferred Upson, Jaigelka & Lescott over him in recent squads. Which along with him not picking Owen is the only thing i don't agree with it so far.

We all know King's woes. But the way Tottenham have been using him (play one game then rest). Once nothing serious doesn't happen between now & next season, i'd want him along with Woodgate to be in the WC Squad next year as back-up to Rio-Terry.

As for Darren Bent:unsure:
Second leading English goal-scorer this season (behind wazza) & having arguably his best season. If he keeps it up, he will be challenging Heskey pretty soon for the target man role.

Anyway who's everyone supporting tonight?

Yea Barca here as well, im sure all serious football fans are already dreaming off a United-Barca final no doubt...

Ha ha you're kidding right? I'm not sure Arsenal will ever have been more popular with neutrals than they will be over the next 7 days.

Getting a yellow card for that is ridiculous.

Why not just outlaw any form of tackling while you're at it.

Meanwhile the Barca crybabies spend half a minute rolling on the floor every time they're dispossessed - do they get a yellow card? Nope.

Hard to feel sorry for the Chavs, but Messi's going to ground easily tonight. Not sure I share Red Clive's contention that Alex caught him.

All Barca tho, tbf. Chavs need Essien and/or Bollock to step up badly.

See that's what I find completely stupid with football.

The Barca defender blatantly takes out Malouda before he can deliver a dangerous cross. No yellow card. In the first half Alex makes a genuine attempt to get the ball, not a great deal of danger, his foot runs over the ball and knocks the attacker and gets a yellow card.
