Marsh should be permanently rested, the openers should be Watson and Haddin so that the former can capitalise on fast bowling and be less exposed to the spinners.

And as for Clark, well he's about 10 times better than any other 2nd string options we have even when he's injured.

If Botha has been banned, then surely this guy is next?
No.

And if Watson was insinuating to the umpires that Amjal was chucking (what else could have he been doing?), he should be reprimanded.

Surprised Amjal had the success he did. He looked decidedly ordinary in the previous series I have seen him in but yesterday he was marvelous. Though, that seemed to be partially down to the Aussie batsman not being able to pick his doosra.

Yeah, can see Ajmal troubling them more and more but Afridi they should've played miles better.

Does Pakistan have a third specialist spinner on the bench? Might be a shot giving him a run next time out, although I'd prefer they picked another all rounder as their batting depth is non existent for mine.
They have Malik but this isn’t Bangladesh or Zimbabwe, so he won't get through 10.

After seeing what happened yesterday they should look at bringing in another spinner into the squad and possibly ditching Shoaib but I would give him two more games before the pension off.

And Arafat should be in the side, Pak's tail is huge.

No worse than Bhajji imo and no-one has questioned him for yonks. If the players learnt how to read him I doubt they'd be complaining about his action.
Unlike Harbhajan, though, he's not been cleared. Just wanna have a look. If he's fine, let him play. Just to shut up the whiny bitches in the Aussie side who'll no doubt be chatting about publicly, especially if he runs through them in the next few games.

Agreed, wtf is that behaviour?

Watson backs up the theory that he's a dickhead more and more every match.

Agreed it will be better for Watto opening, but also he did play the spinners as/more successfully than any of his team mates yesterday. :p

some facts from a press release: Apparently , the pitches simulates playing conditions on surfaces from three different continents. The Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium is bowl shaped, providing excellent views from every seat in the ground and simultaneously bringing the spectators closer than ever to the action.

The player’s changing rooms will be among the most luxurious and spacious of any cricket ground in the world. With indoor and outdoor pitch-side seating, physiotherapy and massage rooms, a raised lounge with a view of the pitch, locker rooms and dining areas, the Dubai Sports City cricket stadium will provide the world-class player with everything they need.

Within the media centre there are 82 indoor press seats with cable and wireless internet connection and excellent views of the stadium. The exceptionally well appointed VVIP and Gold boxes will hold more than 100 people, with 24 luxurious boxes on the lower level adjacent to VVIP and Gold Boxes and 17 high quality corporate boxes looking out on to the pitch from the top level of the venue.

Designed by world-renowned architects Gerkan, Marg, and Partner (GMP) – famous for their work on Berlin Olympic Stadium and Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt – the Dubai Sports City cricket stadium will boast state-of-the-art facilities for players, match officials, VIPs, spectators, and the media.

Dubai Sports City’s cricket stadium will be the first of four stadiums to be completed, with a 60,000 capacity multi-purpose stadium for football, track and field, and rugby; a field Hockey Stadium capable of holding up to 5,000 spectators, and an indoor arena that will house 10,000 supporters for a wide range of sports including basketball, indoor hockey, volleyball, handball, netball and ice hockey.

Yeah, very beautiful stadium.

Any chance of UAE hosting any of the World Cup matches that Pakistan were going to host?

Money talks so ......

Anyway, why stop at the Pakistani fixtures?

Given the state of the world at present, some Boards would be reluctant to send players to SL, Bangladesh and many parts of India as well
