The Sean

Cricketer Of The Year
Surely it's time to call this (I think Gregory Stephen has it well and truly wrapped up) and move on to the next position?

The Wheel is Forever
Now that Grace has been voted in, I'm a little torn whether to vote for Ranji. If you let one player in, I think then its fair enough to let the others in, so Ranji and Trumper should make it probably. Ranji's performances compared to his contemporaries certainly merits his inclusion.

since this poll is about the overall careers of players i've presented the combined ODI, test and twenty20 stats for discussion. according to the thread starter we should take into consideration all forms of cricket while voting in these polls. i want to show sammy2 ponting is way ahead of chanders in all forms of cricket either collectively or separately.
Don't you think that FC matches are more important than Twenty20 while comparing players from different eras (like what we have been doing here in this thread), especially given that FC cricket has always been there while T20 is only a new-born baby...

Coming back to this post of yours, I never imagined that you could reply to a post which not only considers Chanderpaul the best batsman among those who are playing today (not on form alone evidently), but also opines that Ponting is the only one close to him :) ...
