Everton barely beating a weak Man Utd side. Can see Chelsea putting a few past them. Priorities and all that anyway.

Manure got what they deserved for picking such a weak side.
Considering we outplayed Everton for most of the game, I don't really think that you can say that. The fact that 2 of our best players were ultimately responsible for our loss (Berbatov and Ferdinand missing penalties, despite playing well in the game) and nearly all of our young players doing well.

Well played Everton anyway, like David Moyes and he deserves some sort of silverware.

Wrong overrated East European.

Was dire, dire semi it must be said. Used to matter once, the FA Cup. Hey, ho.

You can't play so many second XI players in an FA Cup semi-final. They needed that quality to break Everton down. Instead they couldn't score, went to extra time and lost.

But there were chances when we could have scored. We didn't take some of our chances and that was let us down, not our team selection. We could have won the game with this team.

Was torn between wanting Manure to lose and being worried that if Everton went through the final would be a non event. If you could have guaranteed a Chelsea win in the final I would have like Manure to go through...as it was glad that Everton went through.

But you didn't. I only caught the second half onwards but Manure were toothless. They could have played all night and it would probably still have been 0-0.

Over two hours and change you're bound to get the odd near miss or penalty shout. But neither team really looked like scoring.

Manure were far more likely to nick that goal if they'd had their quality players involved, they've been done it plenty of times already this season.

Well obviously, that last part is right.

Anyway, I'm not going to critisize the judgements of Ferguson. He is the best manager in the business IMO and he took a risk and it didn't pay off. I think I can forgive him

I also love ITV showing footage of Utd fans crying.
Ugly Utd fans with broken noses and turd tattoo's. Actually made me glad to lose seeing numpties like that cry at football.

But yeah, we were a bit turd, though did have Everton's attack nullified. Lacked any penetrative threat ourselves though. Riley bottled giving a clear penalty, but he had a shocker against both teams today.

Team selection was almost right, we have to be honest and say that because both the Prem and CL are so close and the games are packing up, the FA Cup is 3rd priority, and our perfomances in recent weeks show some big names need a rest. Cant fault the performances by any of the kids. Twins did well at full back, Gibson wasnt at his best but didnt do much wrong (really hoping he has a future for us, shows he's got the talent to play centre mid, and possibly the only youth player we have who isnt a ****), the strikers were lively but lacked the ability needed to break down possibly the 2nd best defence in the prem.

Berbatov needs to be taken out and shot for that penalty. Also, guessing Tevez would've taken kick no 5 (not exactly shied from any penalty shootouts), so where was Scholes when we needed our mature, skilled players at the big pressure point? Having your 2 centre backs in the top 5 isnt good, as at least one will most likely miss (not the worst pen from Rio, but a keeper has a 50/50 chance of going the right way, and if he does then thats an easy save)

Jaglielka struck that one sweetly though. Good luck to Everton in the final, i'd happily say they deserve it

Heres one for you lot, how long will ferguson remain manager of Man U? Not that I think he's in danger of losing his job, Man U wont be anywhere as good without him, the board cant afford to get rid of him, it feels like he'll be there forever but he obviously wont, so what do we think?

I think he said that if we win this CL and then another one after that, he will leave.

Rest of us have :p

He's thinking another 2-3 years, but his official line is 'When I dont enjoy the challenge anymore, i'll quit'

Think he's waiting for Jose to get bored of Italy, least thats what I'm hoping. Realistically the only man who can walk into OT and go 'Right, your now my team, now to win stuff'
