Ahh ok, that explains it. So if age isn't a reason for non-selection, how come Jono Boult is ahead of him in the selectors' eyes?

Not entirely sure really. They both play well together for ND A, will just be a matter of time until they give Keir a run, and he will destory the world :)

Like they could give it to anyone else, another immense season.

Can't find if he is playing county cricket anywhere?

6 months of bum scratching until next season

He isn’t but Franklin, Patel and O’Brien are.

Hopefuly it does to O'Brien, Franklin, Patel and Elliott what it did to Zaheer.

Would be good if Franklin could learn more about limited overs bowling and Elliott about FC batting over there as well.

Have a read of his latest blog on Cricket Web. He mentions in there that he's planning on having a quiet off-season.

No he's not at Essex no more. But if anyone could get more pace from a bowler, Pont's the man.

Just seen Jimmy Franklin's two wickets against Surrey, looked like perfect inswinging yorkers to remove both Surrey openers.
Thought this was worth re-posting in here.
