Anyone read the article by Phil Brown in today's Telegraph? It's comedy gold. Deluded, paranoid, bizarre, bitter.

A snippet:

Brown said:
It is dog eat dog out there. Brutal.

We learnt a lot about that against Arsenal back in March. There are no favours in this league, and while I cannot elaborate about my relationship with Arsene Wenger because of an ongoing Football Association inquiry, I can say that I was unpleasantly surprised by some of the reaction from that game, which I found a disgrace.

Naming no names, some journalists abused their position of power, coming out of the woodwork as Gooners. Their blind support for Arsenal manifested itself in scathing attacks on me and the club, all of which I find quite pathetic.

To add insult to injury, I was also called a ninny by Russell Brand. Can you believe it? But he can write what he wants as far as I am concerned.

It's quite outstanding, honestly would laugh if this bloke went down after being in 6th at the halfway point of the season.

Nani's done chuff all all season, bar a few step overs and refusals to cross.

He'll come good mind, Ronaldo was the same for the first few years. But he needs to drop the attitude and the whole Gods gift persona. Should have got that message by now the amount of times Parks been favoured over him (nothing against Park, great squad player, runs his little balls off, just cant shoot for sh*t)

Holy **** 2 goals in 3 games. And he been on the field for about a minute. You don't want to get too excited about a 17 year old. But that pretty impressive stuff from Macheda.

Don't know that Nani will come good, and certainly not to the extent Ronaldo did. Ronaldo is much stronger, bigger and most crucially, faster. Nani is pretty good technically but i don't see the pace to be a world-class winger unless his distribution improves beyond all recognition. Comparing his case to Ronaldo's is pushing it a bit.

Hope to be proven wrong though of course.

Yeah, don't think Nani will be another Ronaldo, but I do think he'll improve yet. He has a fantastic shot on him, delivers good crosses and corner-kicks... needs to work on his passing and, probably more than anything, his footballing brain. But he's got the potential to be better than he is, just not great.

Pretty sure he was refering more to Nani unwillingness to pass then anything else, when he mentioned Ronaldo. Reckon Nani will come good in a couple years. Just needs to understand his role in the side better and get some decent gametime. Also learning how to pass will make a big difference.

The comparison is in attitude, not skill :)

Both have spent the first two seasons playing very selfish, lots of runs and wasted attempts at goal with very little passing or crossing. Ronaldo matured somewhat to become a team player (then improved enough to not need to pass the thing!), hopefully Nani will mature aswell, then he'll be a pretty decent player

Yeah Nani won't be as good as Ronaldo but if he turn out to be 3/4 as good I'll be happy. Definitely can get there though as he has all the tools necessary. Just some mental work and consistency and he'll be worth the money.

What a bizarre match we played in apparently, should of been 4-0 down by all accounts in the first 30 minutes, but gutted, in the end to get just 1 point:@

Was awful. Played really well first half but that is what happens when you have no good strikers available. Second half no where near as good especially after Clarke missed the penalty (don't think it should have been given) but at least we got a point out of it. Three draws in a row all of which we should have won, Still think we should just crawl over the line but as we now have 4 injured strikers I am very nervous.
