Pakistan played 0 tests in 2008...
I think having only 3 selectors - Shastri , Bishop and Smithy Plus the convener whoever he is - is not a fair representation for a pompous sounding XI - would like Roebuck , Ian Chappell and CMJ at the very least to give a more balanced view

Not sure whether the selections were based on perception or ideally on a points system which considers the "strength" of the opposition

Still think Graeme Smith is the better captain over Dhoni and Murali streets ahead of Bhajji :)

To name a Challengers XI to beat this team would be interesting

Well Ian Chappell recently picked 5 Indian players in an XI made up of Australia, India and South Africa so I'm not sure his inclusion would get the balance your looking for.
