Its a shame but they have not deserved their status and have performed at a level below what we would expect.does this now spell the end for Bermudan first class cricket? As much as they've underperformed, that'd be a huge kick in the pants for a small nation like that. I really hope not
They've done extremely well to get as far as they have, but I think this Super 8 stage is going to be too much for them. At very best I can see them maybe sneaking into the top 6 to be an ODI team, but cant see them making the top 4. The likes of Ireland, Kenya, Canada and The Netherlands are too strong.Afgans will defintly play WC11
In all likelihood, their only shot at a win will be against Namibia. Ireland and Canada should be way too strong, and Scotland too unless they maintain their rubbish tournament form. They've done extremely well to get as far as they have, but I think this Super 8 stage is going to be too much for them. My predictions:so to redo my predictions...
A2 (Can) v B1 (Ken) - Ken - winner of this should be a cert for WC, so going with heart
A4 (Nam) v B3 (UAE) -Nam
A1 (Ire) v B4 (Afg) - Ire
A3 (Scot) v B2 (Neth) - Neth. wouldn't want to be the loser of this!
A5 (Uga) v B6 (Den) - Uga
A6 (Oman) v B5 (Ber) - Ber

Some interesting stuff in an interview with RTD over on CricketEurope.
He dismisses claims that Essex pushed him into leaving the tournament early, saying it was purely his decision. He will leave after the match against Namibia on Wednesday. He also says the Irish Middlesex players will leave as soon as they have made certain of WC qualification.
In other news, Ireland, Canada and Scotland have all replaced one player due to injury. Canada was dealt the heaviest blow with Davison having to leave the squad.
Kenya did lose to the Dutch, giving them a 2-point disadvantage over Ireland. So even if they beat the Irish, it only means they draw level and any of Netherlands, Canada and UAE (unlikely) could join them on the same total of points. Some good reads there. Thats a huge blow for Canada, and I now think Kenya should be too strong for them.
I wonder what the county thing does for Seren Waters as he plays for Surrey. However Surrey are involved in a game as I type this. Also Waters father being a selector for Kenya (I think) makes his situation very interesting.
If the Irish players leave once they've qualified will they then be 'favourites' for this?
So Ireland and Canada get other players to join them instead of Davison and Botha, why don't the dutch call up Nannes to replace ten Doeschate ?Some interesting stuff in an interview with RTD over on CricketEurope.
