neatly done in the end for Kenya. Through to round two with the Dutch and UAE. I hope Afganistan do the business so Kenya benefit in the Super 8 from the extra points.

easy win for Kenya in the end, but I still feel they should have been chasing a much lower total with better bowling rotations.

My thoughts exactly. Do you think they'll give a few players a 'rest' v Denmark? To be honest I dont think they should or will.

assuming the final matches go to form:

Ire>Nam
Can>Scot (close, but the Canadians have looked sharper so far to me)
Uga>Oman
Neth>Ber
Ken>Den
UAE>Afg (too close to call, but UAE coming off wins)

then points carried through will be:
Ire 6
Ken 4
Can 4
Neth 4
UAE 4 (order based on current NRR)
Scot 2
Afg 0
Uga 0

I reckon 8 points will earn a top 4 spot. Ireland are 1 win away.
4 points should earn top 6.

loser of Canada v Scotland are going to need to pull it out to qualify for the WC - they will need a win v either Ken/Neth or both. Essentially 4 teams will be battling for the final 3 spots.
Uganda and Afghanistan will need to pull it out to get ODI status. Should Afg>UAE on wed, it will be very interesting for those final ODI spots too, could even come down to NRR!

Should Afg>UAE on wed
That does like the first play-off for ODI status.

The Danish bowlers should hang. One wicket against the Dutch and now 379 in the bag...disgrace. I suppose it's a good thing no one in Danish media cares about the tournament (I mean literally nobody; at least in Dutchland there was an interview of the smith through the People's Source; the only news I've seen from my trawls through Danish media was a six-line notice on the Denmark Radio webpages.)

So interesting the tournament is becoming... This one of the best tournaments till date i've seen, much better than the Champions trophy too which is played by Test Nations, in that case this tournament is turning out to be better 2007 CWC! Unfortunately no proper coverage.
