Rose has dropped to second place behind Westbrook in the rookie rankings this week. With five games to go, he needs to have a couple of big games to get ahead again, although I'm thinking he's the fan favorite to get ROTY anyway, especially if the Bulls make it to the playoffs. Where do we vote for that btw?

Cavs tie up the home-court advantage through-out the playoffs :)

Quite excited about the playoffs tbh, not far away now.

Yeah, have been pretty meh about th elast two weeks tbh as all the playoff teams are more or less decided and now the seedings look pretty tied up. Just the calm before the storm hopefully, just waiting for the big games to come down.

Awesome to see the coverage on ESPN and Ten looks pretty damn tasty if the rumours are to be believed.

As it stands we have:

East:

Cavs v Pistons

Celtics v Sixers

Magic v Bulls

Hawks v Heat

West:

Lakers v Utah

Nuggets v Mavs

Rockets v Hornets

Blazers v Spurs

The Atlanta-Miami series looks so awesome on paper, and just about all the West ones look nice to apart from the Lakers series. The second round is where it will all be at though

Congrats to Denver on winning their first division title in yonks and holding off the surging Jazz too

You're probably right but I think that was more who I want to win because of the possible second round matchups. Reckon a Cleveland-Miami would be a bigger series than a Cleveland-Atlanta one.

EDIT: Funnily enough all three of tomorrow's matches are previews of first rounders if things stay the same. Hawks-Heat, Celtics-Sixers and Jazz-Lakers

Yeah Magic would have really suck for the Bulls to win more than two games, despite how impressed they've been these past few weeks.

The seedings weren't as tied up as you thought.

Celtics play the Bulls and the Sixers play the Magic. The West has Nuggets/Hornets, Spurs/Mavs, Trailblazers/Rockets.

The ones which mattered to me were ;) Although the Mavs leapfrogging the Hornets is crazy, their fall has been spectacular as has Houston's to a lesser extent.

All four of the West matchups are chin strokers for mine. Apart from the Lakers series can see all the others go either way due to interesting matchups. Might try and break each one down a bit later.

Eastern Conference

Cleveland vs. Detroit - lol, Detroit a mess at the point with Dice playing minutes at centre. Hope they can pinch a game at the Palace. 4-1
Boston vs. Chicago - Garnett back, should overwhelm the young Bulls. 4-0
Orlando vs. Philadelphia - Like the 6ers here, think their forwars are good enough to curb Dwight, Miller is extremely underrated.. 4-2
Atlanta vs. Miami - Johnson should be a good match for Wade, home court just gets Atlanta over. 4-3

Western Conference, where it gets interesting.

Lakers
vs. Jazz - Deron could have a big game or two, but yeh Kobe. 4-2
Blazers vs. Rockets - Young Blazers can do it, Yao can be curbed. 4-1
Spurs vs. Dallas - I like this one the most. Duncan v Dirk epic, Kidd has got 'em playing well. 4-3
Denver vs. Hornets - Think the Hornets can take it up to em on offense, we'll see some big scores. DEnver just.

Pumped. Anyone know the One scheduling yet?

Hope you're dead wrong about Bulls being swept, but you might not be too far off the mark. They really could've had a better time against Magic, though I don't see the sixers taking them out either.

Gah ****ing bollocks, just had an essay typed up previewing the series but IE froze on me.

But as for TV rights it looks like ESPN is showing most of the Western Conf games and the Finals so One might be showing more Eastern games and the timings of the games (10AM) seem to go with this too. League Pass is where it's at though if you want to see as many games as possible(legally).
