Yeah I'm over it. Was so confident going into tonight and now I'm 0-2 like basically every week. Man reckon the side the wins the minor premiership this season will have the lowest point ever the way this season is going. There not even one side in the comp that looks even close to brillant. You know I am all for a even comp, but the standard of football has been pretty poor. It basically just who turns up each match or you have a game that close where no one turns up.

If you compare a match now to a game 5-10 years ago, I think you will see a major difference in standard. Remember watching some games from early 90s and comparing it to know and standard was a lot better. Before it was just 1-2 players below NRL standard, now it i like 3-4 per side. Can't think of one side that has a good bench anymore.

Both teams played ok. There was a lot of dropped ball and the Dragons read our backline movements well which resulted in a few intercepts which lead to tries. Again our defence was good, but we didn't scramble as well as we usually do. We didn't have enough go forward either in attack imo. But, Dragons were well up to the contest.

Dragons played far better than okay.
Soward ran the show and the centres [Boyd and Scott] were superb.
Up front Weyman, Prior and Creagh were all very good. Great win for the Dragons, Broncos looked a little flat but didn't disgrace themselves against our bogey side.

I only watched the first half (started 12.30am) but what I saw Boyd was playing fullback (and doing well).
From what I've seen this year, top four will be Melb, Brisbane, Dragons and who knows (maybe Manly if they actually start winning).

Yeah he had a good game but for some parts of the match Hornby was at the back.
I don't get why you would include Manly in your top 4 from what you seen this year...

Cause I couldn't think of another team worthy. Manly have the talent to be there and may get on a role. But your right, from evidence so far this year, they've imploded and are likely to stink it up, regroup and win last 8 games and finish 9th.
Who would most likely be the other team? Roosters perhaps?

Nah not Roosters, they've been terrible half the time.
I guess the Rabbits, Warriors or Titans are up there at the moment, Titans may slip a bit after tonight, but at home they are very good!
Warriors have injury worries at the moment but should be up there.

Yeh cant believe the Dragons only used 15, Bennett has done it before leaving one of the bench for the whole game, but not two.
Seems fair enough really when you have three back rowers in Prior, Young and Creagh that all play 80 minutes. plus with Priddis on the bench not sure why Head was there in the first place.

YOU BEAUTY!!!! Tough game that one, but we really accelerated in the last 10. Fully deserved victory for us.
Great start to the season for the Panthers imo. We should be 3/4 at this stage, and up towards to top of the table.
Next couple of weeks will be the real indicator of where we are in the big scheme of things. Melbourne away then Broncos at home. They don't look like spooners to me though

Poor discipline, bad handling and some poor reads to top it off. They weren't great at all today although they continuously look dangerous in attack. Still you can only play who's in front of you.
