That's it, RTD 106no. Excellent start for the Dutch. Kenya should come good, their lower order was very good today. The spinners could do nothing on this pitch.

All matches done!

Ireland 233/3 bt Scotland 232/7 by 7 wickets
The Netherlands 248/3 bt Kenya 247/8 by 7 wickets
UAE 190/6 bt Bermuda 187ao by 4 wickets
Afghanistan 205/5 bt Denmark 203/9 by 5 wickets
Canada 247ao bt Oman 144ao by 103 runs
Uganda 234/7 bt Namibia 228/9 by 6 runs

So, some surprising results and 4 wins for the chasing teams. Early morning conditions difficult for batting, it seems.

First prediction comp update later tonight! And don't forget to put in your predictions for tomorrow's matches.

According to cricinfo, tendo is leaving on the 13th to play for essex in their championship game. That could change the super 8s completely.

Found it a bit odd that Netherlands play a specialist keeper, but judging from the cricketeurope commentary he took two stunning catches today.

Smits is being widely discussed in the netherlands, smits is considered one of the best keepers in the world, as he has a good attitude while keeping and is not scared to try things and basically does an excellent job.
some say Atse Buurman is just as good, and a far better batsman, but Buurman has international inexperiance, and than there is the case of Bas Zuiderent, who is also a keeper (decent) and of course one of the better batsman in the squad.

Smits might not feature in the 20/20 WC (but I think he will) and we'll have to see for the WC, the guy is almost forty afterall...

****ing disgrace that.
Agreed. Could only happen in cricket. Hopefully the Dutch will have qualified by then with 6 straight wins. Although they should be able to beat the 3rd and 4th placed teams from group A without RTD, tbf.
