Hi all, looking as though Kamande is th inform batsman for Kenya. Good to see Nemi getting stuck in at the death (tuned in at the 44th over). Hopefully his radar is working with the ball.
the big if...

however looking at the line up and considering that Odoyo and Ongondo should be good for 10 overs each, as should Varaiya while Kamande and Tikolo should bowl at least 10 between them, he and Lameck should only be needed for 10.

if, if, but, but, if....

1:32 PM I'm afraid it's clouded over during the lunch interval, and rain may not be far away.

not a good start from Odoyo. Can't afford no-balls, especially if messers D-L are going to get involved!

There's definitely something in it for the bowlers with the new ball. After that, all bets are off.
Is it new ball or is it early morning moisture - that could be the question that determines the tournament if chasing >> setting. Suddenly the 70-30 games like Denmark-Holland become 50-50s if you're batting first...

And Reekers holes out in the second over.

It could be either I guess, in Ireland's case i think it was largely their two best bowlers being miles better than the others. Don't really know enough about the pitches in that part of the world to say.

Porterfield takes a four and a six off Nel's first over.

I think the same applies to most of the teams - bowlers 1 & 2 are often much better than the change options. Some great spinning options further into the innings may be crucial though.

Any thoughts on bumping Kamande up the batting order a bit? Also wouldnt be surprised to see Obanda in for Waters in the next match.
