Daniel marsh resigned as captain but will play on next year,george bailey expected to be named captain.

I dont think he's really upto that standard of cricket yet tbh, good bowler however he's still not that physically mature and dosen't have the pace to play FC cricket just yet.

Beherendorf could also be joining Carters in SA. Of the other young ACT players Ashton May is going to NSW and Nic Death is likely going to lose his rookie contract with WA so he will be back in Canberra for a year or two.

I think he is quick enough, last time I faced him he wasnt at peak fitness and was not at his best but from what Ive heard over the last few weekends in particular he's been sending them down very quickly.

Well Ricky Ponting he plays for Tasmania, on the few times he gets to do so, and still lives in New South Wales. Watson could still play for Queensland and it is only a 90 minute plane ride to Sydney to Brisbane.

Watson may have to play half the season, whereas Ponting at most will play 1-3 games.

I'm laughing everytime they call him 'Townsville born Western Australian' in the media. He is a QLDer FFS. Christ even I think I count as one now given I have done 10 years here.

Well he could always sleep on the couch of a team-mate if he has to. Don't know why he would want to leave Queensland though, the weather is just too good (unless you live in North Queensland :ph34r:) and so is the lifestyle.
