Worst batsman ever to score a Test match 100

Wonder how many batsmen in test cricket have scored a maiden hundred and no half centuries in their career ?

Perhaps this is a pointer to the post query

From memory in the 70's onwards , i can think of Ajay Ratra and Ajit Agarkar from india ; Tony Mann from Australia and Irving Shillingford from West Windies - all with solitary ton and no half centuries

Adding Ali Naqvi from pakistan to this list
Players with one Test century and no Test half-centuries

David Lloyd's is a bizarre one. An unbeaten double (good one too, from the footage) and didn't pass 50 otherwise in 9 Tests. Weird.

Brendon Kuruppu? 201* on first innigs, then nothing after that. Retired too soon IMO

i remember Brendon Kuuppu opening & keeping wickets (?) in the 83 world cup and his 201 was against a certain Richard Hadlee though on a featherbed of a wicket

Wonder why he di'nt play more for lanka -
